Hey there Amiga! Are you ready to take your beauty business to the next level? If you’re not already utilizing Pinterest to promote your biz, you’re missing out on a sea of potential clients! In this blog, we’ll go over 5 fun and effective tips for using Pinterest to grow your beauty business. Let’s get started!
First things first, create a Pinterest business account. There is also the option of converting your personal pinterest account into a business account.
What are the pros of having a pinterest business acount? This will give you access to analytics, ad tools, and more data so you have actual data in ways to reach your audience. Plus, having a professional account will make your brand look all the more polished and put together and access to new features.
When creating boards and pinning, think about what your target audience is looking for and what they might find inspiring. Make sure your pins are high-quality, visually appealing and on-brand. This will help establish your business as a go-to source for all things beauty. Always lead them back to you! In pins we all have access to add back links and some of us can also add links in the idea pins that you create. I don’t have access to linking from my idea pins but if you use it.
Don’t be afraid to look at what others are doing on Pinterest and get inspired by their strategies. Don’t copy put get inspired. Look at current trends and remember that on pinterest is about 2 months ahead of time. So by end of december is probably time to start posting inspo on galentines day. You can even create a secret board to save pins and brainstorm how you can put your own spin on their ideas.
Collaborating with other beauty businesses, bloggers or influencers in your niche is a fantastic way to reach a larger audience and increase your visibility on Pinterest. You can collaborate by creating joint boards or by repinning each other’s content. Don’t be afraid of supporting other business owners and growing together.
Finally, don’t be afraid to invest in Pinterest by doing purposeful content. Utilize the data from analytics so that you can target specific demographics, interests, and keywords to make sure your pins are seen by the right people. This is a great way to drive traffic to your website, increase brand awareness, and grow your beauty business.
