Things have changed so fast over the past year. What worked is no longer valid today. I am sharing here the top 2 that are a must.
Google my business:
I trust google more than yelp and now more than ever the biggest search engine we use for our day to day. Is your business listed there and have you been keeping it updated as your business evolves? You can add pictures, reviews and it was my number one secret weapon to build my salon business.
Online booking:
I know this may be one that is a given but you will be surprised how many times I have gone into a business site that has an outdated website or worse not even an online booking platform. This is not an option. Clients are looking for a solution today and a simple booked appointment even if it’s for a consultation will get them into your business rather than having to play the old phone or message tag back and forth.
Referral Program:
What is in it for your clients? Why should they refer you to someone? How will it benefit them? Now we are all looking for a mutual win-win relationship. Remember doing a great service is not enough to be referral worthy, how can you reward your clients in a way that they will be sharing and talking about you everywhere without breaking the bank?
I know social media is so much fun but if tomorrow is no longer around or worse, someone hacked your account and you can no longer reach your followers, can we find you online? How can you contact your clients in a fast and easy way as we experienced this year with shutdowns in california, communication is key to your business health and wealth.
