Preparation is key for this shutdown. I saw it coming. Wait what? Yes, the number one question all my guests asked was.. Do you think there will be another shutdown? I said yes. We did services that were either low maintenance they could go months without coming in or if they have already high maintenance looks made it a refresh for longevity. Thinking ahead is key for you to be prepared just in case.
First way to make money is Online Shop. Our business may be closed indoors but about 95% to be exact of my clientele is still working mostly not all from home. Your clients still need You and what an awesome way to offer solutions with curbside pickup or shipping products to their door.
Virtual classes are a great way to help them during this time away & make some income while at home. You can use the video app of your choice. Be creative, maybe you have a hidden talent like you are an amazing baker and can teach that online.
Number 3 use your other talents to make income. There are other talents or that one question you get asked over and over again, be creative. You can use that to offer a solution to others while making some income. I have been designing websites while being away from the salon to make extra income from home.
Learn a new skill to make a new stream of income now that will benefit you later. With online education being so accessible, what have you been wanting to learn that you can use in your business later on? For example photography to do social distancing photo shoots but later on can use that skill to create your own stock photos. Think outside the box, sometimes we get so caught up with overthinking and the answer is in front of us.
Lastly, if you have no need to make income while at home, Invest in You. Knowledge of everything you learn can Never be taken away from you. All the skills and things you learn you can implement later on in your life in one way or another. Use this time to take care of yourself and make the changes you have been putting off. For more ideas on how to brainstorm I have included the link to my Podcast episode to help you with this.
Always here and although we each have our own situations together we can do more.
